Hi: I just started last week from a 33 year layoff from pipes. Bought a Quiet Comrade on Ebay to start out with and some Butterscotch Love blend from the Just for Him store.

I have way too many hobbies, have played trumpet for many years, everything from Big Bands, Baroque music on Piccolo trumpet, Salsa Bands, etc.

I have a serious audio addiction, and like also building speakers. This is the last set of 8 ft. tall speakers I built, and ended up selling on Ebay ( yeah I know, I have this thing for Ebay)

I also like enduro kart racing. My son and I have karts, his is the yellow one.

I like test driving exotic cars too. My son got me a test drive in a Aston Martin Vantage and a Lamborghini for Fathers Day.

So I just found out about this place today. I have been posting up on the Pipesmagazine.com site for a couple of weeks. I like the layout of the site here. Looks like a fun place. Be prepared for a bunch of newbie questions.

My wife calls me " weird " :suspect: :lol!: she also thinks I have too many interests in life.

Forgot to add that my favorite place on this planet is in the British Virgin Islands where I've been going on vacation the last 4 years or so...my daughter even got married down there last year. The eastern most island is called Virgin Gorda ( fat virgin ) as that is what it looked like to Christopher Columbus as he approached the island. Here is a picture of Savannah Bay in the middle of the day...see any people on the beach? That is what it is normally like, you have the beach all to yourself, and world class snorkeling too.

Diving is world class as well.

Gotta love the color of the water too.

I need to go back there really soon to regain my sanity. :bounce:

OH forgot another big interest, is my new 2003 left-over/reposessed Cannondale X440 fuel injected, electric start, Ohlin suspensioned MX bike. I haven't got to ride it yet as we disassembled the engine as soon as I got it and had the crank bearing upgraded and then spin balanced, but it will only take about an hour to re-assemble the engine and another hour to re install the engine in the bike and tune it up.

This is the engine out of the bike, front fuel injection intake, rear exhaust.

Should be more fun than my wedding night.

Thought I'd throw in a wedding picture too. :D

I also build projection screens which I spray 4 coats of a gray paint mixture on a large foam core board so that you can use a projector in a normally ambient room. This is the 110 inch screen in my Great Room.
My wife is the TV nut...I only watch and hour or so per month.\

Anyone want to see more of my stuff? :D I do have more hobbies
