Hello! I'm Geoff. Been a few years. Lot has has been going on which I won't bore you with the details. One thing to note is a I finally snagged a Trevor Talbert pipe he made for Pipe & Pint anniversary in Greensboro, NC. Great smoking pipe!

Things have calmed down on my end and I missed you guys. I hope all is well!

For folks that joined after my sabbatical, I'm software developer living in the Raleigh area and participated in a lot of tech startups. Moved on to something stable after the last stint. Long time Linux user and I saw the thread and will add my 2 cents :) I smoke both pipes and cigars. Usually the cigars are a summer thing and pipe is the rest of the year. I am an avid poker player and play regularly with a bunch of guys from the local smoke shop that I would not recommend playing against if you are new to the game. I also fish on the OBX of NC in fall for the drum-run. Usually around Cape Lookout, which is a magical week of no electronics.

I have a nice cellar of tins that are on average about 4 years old now that I now rotate.

Welcome back! I had wondered what had happened to you. It's good to see my neighbor posting again. Maybe one day we can meet and have a bowl. :)

Welcome back Geoff,

I'm in much the same boat as life got a little crazy there for a while. Look forward to a pic of the Talbert pipe sir!
