Yep! That's right, I was out on the tractor mowing and stuck my pipe lighter in my back pocket because it was a bit heavy in my T-shirt pocket. A little later I hit something and it made a good bang but, I just kept going. As time went on my pipe went out and so I checked my back pocket for my lighter. Well, this is all I found of it and no it wasn't in my back pocket.

A different look inside your white box, that's for sure.

The horse is missing.  :joker:

Jim, would you believe this is my very first time in over 50 years I have ever lost or destroyed a lighter, it's true.

Glad to see that it wasn't an Old Boy lift arm lighter, I would've been cussin' something awful. Nice job Ron!!  :lol!:

Ron, Ron, how could you ?    You KNOW back pockets are for FLAT stuff like wallets, roll-up baccy pouches, court papers etc. Ya put the rest in the FRONT

Well Doc, As far as I'm concerned it might as well have been, it was a gift.
And I went to price another just like it and they want $25 for one.
Back to Bic's I reckon.

Specially court papers!

There's a first time for everything I guess. At least you don't have my middle daughter around. She is a magnet for bad stuff to happen to a lighter. Never fails either it's always my lighter that bad stuff happens to when she "borrows" it. Now I keep cheap Bic's just for her cause I don't want to replace any more of my good lighters.

Well you can't say when do something you don't do it right Cart.

Wait! What's the problem? Just send it in to the company and they'll send you a new one. Wait a minute, again--that's Zippo. Never mind.  ;)

Even if it was a Zippo, I would NOT send it back to them.
My fault not there's. But, I'm sure there would be unscrupulous people that would.

They love it. They'll put it on display in their museum in Bradford, PA--which I recommend seeing if you ever get the chance. I think they make up for it by people buying replacements for lost Zippos. Those they don't guarantee. I think I've lost a dozen or so in my lifetime, and I ain't done yet, probably.
