From my wife of 42 years. A new Pilot Custom 823 Amber (medium). After the flush & rinse I loaded it with Pilot Iroshizuku Yama Guri (Chestnut Brown) ink. Probably 75% of the many reviews I’ve read about this one claim it is arguably the best fountain pen in the world. After an afternoon of doodling I find that assessment hard to contradict. While nosing around one day I found a vendor in Japan that had it for a really crazy price. I copied the link down and I guess she found it. Same shop…done business with him before…always a perfect deal.

Nice looking pen. I like that it is just clear enough to see through. Is it a vac filler? Just recently ordered my first vac pen from Twsbi, can't wait to get home to play with it.
