The Knox Board from who's ashes became BoB had a meetup once. The online and real time pipe worlds don't have much in common but I've met a few BoB members at shows over the years. I see LL at a couple of shows and I usually see member Mejoshee at the Vegas show coming up in a week and a half. Hop on a plane and join in the fun! :shock:

In any case the planning and logistics of this would be intimidating.

While I'm favourable towards it, it's a massive task when one thinks about it.

when i buy my 40 acers i might offer a get together but if u stay id say bring a tent and be prepared to be off grid in the moddle of now where.

I would imagine putting something like that together would be a bit out of my scope. I think arky has the best idea overall though. A weekend camping sort of thing would be best. I would say a hotel and casino could handle us better though. Also, it could be done in conjunction with an existing trade show perhaps. I think a bunch of us would be down to go if it ever did get off the ground. It would have to be planned for next year at the earliest.

i was thinking for 20 bucks a head if make a camp site amd offer fire wood and provide 3 meals a day im in the works of looking for the right peacw of land im looking at 40 80 acers and found a few i like my hope is to have it by spring or summer next year its a hope not set in stone yet

Any official BoB sanctioned gathering would have to be approved by the Admins here, the way that I see it.

There again, if anyone wanted to organise a casual/local event I'm sure it would be supported by those able to attend.
