If this track holds, looks like she's gonna hit the bullseye.
She's not supposed to be very strong.
I better get my grass cut tomorrow.

She's going through (fast) where I live right now. At tropical storm strength it's more rain than wind at this point. Wind strength at about 40 m/h sustained winds. No big deal; I've seen regular summer storms stronger than this. I don't know if it will grow significantly once it's on the Gulf. After all, Katrina hit Miami as a cat 1 before it went into the Gulf and grew. But in July that's not expected to happen. If it does it would be atypical for computer models for this time of year and climatologists would get upset.

I sure don't want anyone hurt by ol' Bonnie, but we'll take the rain and (maybe) cooler temps here in the Heartland!! FTRPLT

The track has shifted East a bit and she has speeded up.
If she doesn't push oil into the marsh she might be beneficial.

It looks like it won't be too bad Hermit but I will send up some prayers to assure a swift departure with minimal damage.

What a total failure.
It didn't even rain.
I was hoping for a couple of inches.
It's hot and sunny and I'll be out watering
the gardens this afternoon.
