Someone will still buy it for more than it's worth, likely, from some sap having trouble rubbing two coins together looking for a deal. :|

What can ya do?

A little duct tape and it will be good as new! What a bunch of pessimists.

Can't those cracks be filled with Pratley Putty?

Yeah, it can be repaired and is probably perfectly smokeable as is. People are just talking it down because they want it. Aside from the advertised defects, it seems to be in pretty good shape. It's on my watch list: I'm interested to see what happens in the last few minutes of the auction.

Here's a slightly damaged Dunhill patent number LB...
$6.00 on ebay. Couldn't resist.

It seems as if one of the trees in the background fell on it. Cigar ashes, mixed with super glue will fix that crack in a way that nobody will know about it.

The owner saved up money over a period of 10 years because he wanted a Dunhill. He smoked the hell out of it and now it's a Dung Hill.
