After 3 months of smoking my cobs are acquiring a patina. That's a first! Of the 9, 2 bowls have gone out of round. I'm glad to have made cobs' acquaintance. I now have 5 briars, 3 bought back from the guy to whom I sold them, and about 25 lbs of tobacco.

I'm rollin' and heartily enjoying it, and have resumed my nightly bowl of Dark Flake.
 
My Washington cobs, which have an even wall between the outer bowl and chamber, all get a nice brown ring on the outside after much use. On one, the once brightly transparent-yellow acrylic stem has turned into a deep amber, too. Cobs are wonderful to watch color and change as they get smoked...I'm a fan.
