It's already priced a bit higher than I'm willing to pay for an estate cob, but I'm going to be very disappointed if it doesn't find a home with a member of this forum!

You should probably ask if they have any CCSS shanks left, and if so, would they make you a CCSS Natural Freehand. They'll probably have to check with Phil, who had told me a while back that he still had a few left.

Assuming they have a few left are the CCSS shanks only for the Natural Freehand or could it be used for any of their cobs like the Country Gentleman?

Where were you a couple of days ago when I posted this? I was hoping someone here would snatch it up. It's starting to look like that's not the case. Whoever bought it, I hope they realize how special it is. Not just anyone can be in the CCSS.
(Gotta smoke a cob first. )
