Color Coded Petes,,,

:lol: :lol: Heres a thought I had last night.
So, I was thinkin, too many pipes , may confuse me as to what pipe for what tobacco.

So, Hey, how about " Color Coded" Pipes?

7 Green Petes, for Virginia's
7 Red Petes for Va-pers
a few Rusticated for Latakia's
and walnut or light colored for Aromatics.


It was a silly idea at first, but, I think I like it . :shock:

That is what important that you like it. Im not in to alot of different tobaccos so its not hard to remember what pipe I use for virginia, and the rest for my blends. I just wish I could afford to get some pets like that.

I also like it. Just be sure the bowl shapes all match per color, and match the tobacco you find best suits them! Otherwise you'll just confuse yourself. :lol:

I second this. You should also make sure that they all have the same shank decoration, bend, and stem/bit format. If you're gonna go, go all the way!

Heck, they'll double as Christmas tree decorations with that color theme, and you can hang them stem-down after each smoke! :cheers:

Something just occurred to me: I've seen pipe trees, wherein the pipes are the "branches," just make a conical-style one, and poof, instant holiday cheer!

See? This is what happens when "crazy" meets "crazier." 8)
