Comoys 440 Tradition

I don't think that I shared my recent restoration here, a Comoy's 440 Tradition.  In fact this was my part of my Thanksgiving Day smoke this morning.

And a shot with it's larger brother, a 498 Extraordinaire.

Another splendid restoration Al. Looks brand spanking new again!

The sight of that bowl on the before pics looked pretty awful, but you've dealt with that good and proper.

Thanks. I've been searching for that 440 shape for quite a while. If it had been listed in the restored condition, I would have never been able to compete for it on Ebay. The last 440 I saw was listed in 2012 I believe. (and a Blue Riband..)

Yes & no. I could never fix the button, so I just put on a rubber bit and its my shop pipe, it smokes quite well!

The bowl was topped, polished and stem shortened. I could not discard that C stem. Smokes fine at this length, and those C's always make me smile! It will last another lifetime in this format.
