yeah, i rub it out. i don't let it dry too much. it burns great for me "soft to the touch". it's got some sponge still in it when i pack the pipel

Believe it or not, I have never tried Penzance. I will have to try some when I can get my hands on it. It sounds like I am really missing some fine tobacco.

Glad you got your hands on some, Penzance is fantastic. I ordered an 8 oz. bag when I could, stored 6 of it away and plan to smoke the remaining 2. Couldn't ask for a better english blend.

I have had 2-3 bowls of Penzance so far. While smoking it I really enjoyed it but was not sure it was living up to all the hype and mystique. What I found really weird was for 2-3 hours after I smoked a bowl of it I found myself thinking more about it and wanting more.

So I picked up 8oz and will get around to smoking more and see if the same thing happens
