Well, I filled my Adam Davidson with butternut burley thinking it was a burley similar to nut brown, and to my surprise it was an arromatic. Tastes a little like the old MacBaren cube (honey) and the room note is vanilla.

Normally, I would not smoke an arro in a high grade pipe like this. So I filled it with Habana daydream to smoke out any remaining casing, then immediately tasted latakia (which I like anyway). I smoke this blend alot and never noticed the latakia before (or the oriental whatever I'm tasting).

Then filled the same bowl with Old Gowrie. I gotta say the combination of flavors is intoxicating. I'm sure I can smoke out any ghosts, but it certainly has been an interesting evening.

This may awaken my tastes for arromatics again.
