That thing looks like hell to smoke. Points for originality, though.

Actually it might. Since the shank is probably all one piece, and drilling curves is quite a task, this is the first thing that came to mind regarding the pipe cleaner passing. I'm sure that there are other ways to do it, but this would be the easiest.

HAH!

All laughs aside, it might pass a cleaner because I'd wager the draft hole is still straight. Kinda like the Insanus pipes by Ser Jacopo.

The perfect pipe for deer hunting with my scoped 7mag! :geek:

I think it's for people who smoke in their car, but don't want anyone to know. In England they'd need one that bends to the right. Either way, it should have a wind cap. :p

There's always one fella in a pack that's gotta be just a little bit different. That's his pipe.

Rob, I think you've got it right. I was thinking the same thing. You'd have to account for the length of the tenon of course in your drawing, but it's most likely drilled just as you have it drawn and it "might-could" (how's that for southern?) still pass. Certainly not one of my favorite designs, but interesting nonetheless.

Brian.

That pipe looks like a case of advanced Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's painful to look at.
