This my be a repeat topic, but oh well!

How many of us homebrew, and what have you done recently?

The last I brewed was a Rye Saison, turned out quite well.
Next week I am brewing a Cherry Stout. Here is the grain-bill:

5lb American 2-Row
5lb Pilsner
.5lb CaraPils
.5lb Caramel 80L
.5lb Chocolate
1oz Fuggle-bittering
.5oz Willamette-aroma
6lb Cherry Puree
Can't decide on Wyeast London Ale, or Old Ale. Guess I'll decide when I see what they have at the local HBS. :D

Cody, I'm not into it but my son-in-law is big time. He's got a fortune tied up in it. He's won some awards too with his twisted whisky ale. damn good stuff! He makes a great Irish Red and an English stout too.

It's a science! Too complicated for me but I sure like to drink it.

Valky, the Irish Red sounds good! Killian's is my favorite beer!

I take it you've never had a Smithwick's ???

I have for over 20 years now, but alas all my bottling equipment and such has collected dust for almost a year now. I've got to get back into it this winter. My Imperial Stout has been known to grow hair in places where you didn't know you had such places!

Natch

Finally got around to cracking open a bottle of cherry stout. Can't really taste the cherries, but it's definitely in the aroma. Very toasty with a little chocolate. I'll have to add more cherries next time!

The wife got me a homebrew kit for Christmas, so I'm looking forward to getting into this new hobby (although I currently have too many "irons in the fire" as it is, lol).
