Finally back in the game

Well after being ill for nearly a month and four trips to the emergency room one of which was by my personal physician I am turning the corner, I hope.

I won't get into the details as they were tough enough while happening so suffice it to say I felt steady enough to have an inaugural smoke in Bo Nordh's personal Apple shaped bowl with horn accent filled with one of the tobaccos he favored, Dunhill 965.
A lovely smoke to pay homage to Bo, keep it smokey!

Well I ran into another wall around the corner with another ER trip for four hours last evening,  now I follow up with my physician this morning.

Well my physician has ordered some extensive blood tests and will be calling my oncologist to cancel my scheduled maintenance tomorrow figuring that it would interfere with the testing on Thursday.

He has also decided to speak with an infection specialist feeling this may be either my kidneys or perhaps the port I had surgically implanted a little over 8 years ago, hopefully they will be successful in taming the beast, thanks for all the well wishes, warm regards.
