What genre Rock/Rock'n'roll do you gravitate toward?
Myself, several genres, examples being Country Rock, Progressive Rock, Art Rock, Hard Rock, Post Grunge Alternative, limited Heavy Metal, avoiding "classic" rock whenever I can.
On the German/Euro scene, I enjoy Neue Deutsche Haerte (New German Hardness), and Electronic Body Music, groups like Die Krups and Eisbrecher.

How about you all?

Punk, experimental/difficult/noise/electro-acoustic/avant-garde/ambient, metal, Grateful Dead, and krautrock are my primary loves. There really isn't anything I don't listen to, but I have little interest in any pop(ular) artists. I give them listens, but I rarely come back to them. I spend 75% of my time with punk and experimental, 15% on krautrock, and 10% on krautrock, prog, Indian classical, and metal. I'd listen to more krautrock, but I've mostly exhausted that catalogue and have a dolt's need for the new. It's such an incredble genre of music, and I found it out of my love for experimentalism and Grateful Dead improvisations.

*I got super into jazz a handful of years ago, which I feel was the last frontier for me. I couldn't stand it. Just could not stand it. And then I watched a couple documentaries, and I slowly got hooked. It was 95% of my listening for a good 3-4 years.
