Was just mindlessly surfing ( can happen after 40 years ) and found this site about the Dr's famous pipes. I know there are Bobs here that smoke 'em and you might already know about this site but I thought it was interesting enough for even the "young 'uns"

My first pipe was a Grabow. Gave it away recently, too. :lol:

For a site that has been on the net that long I am surprised that it never came up during my previous searches. My second pipe was a Linkman Dr. Grabow de lux. A great pipe. So much so that I bought a second one. The second one I gave to Dreadgerbil, who in turn found himself with a second (slightly smaller than his first) Grand Duke Dr. Grabow which he gave me.

So my newest pipe is a Dr. Grabow. Smokes well with its duel hole stem system. Always looking for more information.

Yup, same here too - first Briar was a Grabow Full Bent. Lost it years ago while fishing, and I didn't even get the fish - he broke the line... :x
