Found a source for Block Meerschaum Bowls for Falcon Pipes.

Well it took several days of 503 and 504 website errors, places that no longer had bowls but never took the pages down, several cached sites which were really dead ends and one site that had them in a variety of shapes, some plain and some with carving but no pricing so I wrote them and 5 days later I got a reply they were $20 each (I asked about a plain bowl almost Tankard height) and these are directly from Turkey. They asked how many I wanted and I wrote back just 1 for me but that I was on several pipe smoking sites where discussion on Meerschaum bowls for Falcon Pipes being non-existent and plenty of folks that really love their Falcon's. So now I'm waiting to hear back how much to ship from Turkey and how to pay for it.

A Series $20 each

B Series $24 each

C Series $27 each

We are trying to get up a group buy which would lower the overall costs of shipping, i.e. they would be shipped to me and I will have to pay duty on them which means that the cost of the pipe bowl does not include your portion of the duty, shipping to the US and then shipping it to you (this will be as you choose the others are what they are).

So here are the photos, if you have an interest (does not mean you are being held to it we are trying to get some numbers if it goes through we'll ask for firm commitments then).

Here is a post by meerqueen a close friend of the maker of the bowls, they have direct PayPal and can give you lead time for the type of bowl you want, i.e. carved bowls are 2-3 weeks as they need to be carved and dried. So you can do this directly which is probably smarter in the long run since I'd hate like heck to have one go missing or broken and if it's coming directly from the maker it seems much more seamless and this is a win-win for everyone and at least you know you're dealing directly with the source. I just found them and thought them too nice not to share with you.

Folks from the other forums have begun receiving their orders of these and found them excellent in quality, fit, finish and smokability, no vest interest in this and I have not received mine as yet but will report my observations when I have. Meerqueen plans to add these to his website's store front end of this month.

My bowl came today and with wind chills below zero I pocketed the Falcon with its new Meerschaum Bowl filled with aged Stonehaven and a big mug filled with Costa Rican Tarrazu black and strong and had a smoke in my SL500. Lovely fit, finish and first smoke, thank you Meerqueen for getting this to happen. Thanks...........
