So, here it comes. Tanning yesterday, today stoking the wood stove. Started the chili boil in the morning, and while the meat deboned itself in the pot I applied de-icer to the solar panels.

Tonight's supper is an avocado cob salad with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing and chili. Hushpuppies onion rings on the side.
 
OW, my kind of dinner!! Nothing better then chili nice and spicy on a cold miserable day. One of my passions in life use to be cooking and making my own wines.  Your a lucky man living the way you do, I'm in envy!!

I'm not opposed to either, though I lean more towards a nice single malt. Currently enjoying The Glenlivet... Anytime is good to share chili! There is sharp Tillamook Cheddar and pepper jack cheese, white and sweet onions, sour cream, and various pepper sauces for toppings. Today it is being served with home made blue and white corn tortilla chips, fresh cut and fried in peanut oil....
 
Sounds delicious Wiz, being a 32 degree day here (C, 89 F) I'm doing Vietnamese inspired chilli pork ribs on the barbecue. As long as they don't declare a fire ban.

Ribs smothered in a mix of sweet chilli sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, chilli and lemongrass. Mixed Asian pickle salad on the side.
