Frodo has reached my door!!

I missed out on the official Lord of the Rings pipes when WB dropped the line last June. I was ecstatic when I heard Vauen would release a similar line.

So when I came home this morning, I was glad to see that the Hugg Churchwarden (which I've named Frodo) had arrived.

I was a big surprised at its size. Compared to other churchwardens, this is pretty big, but in a good way. Obviously a pipe for holding, it feels good in the hand, and since I already have 3 other Vauen pipes, I'm confident this will smoke well.

A BIG shout out to Victoria and Mike at Connecticut Valley Tobacco for their AMAZING customer service! If you're interested in a Vauen I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had my regular break in ritual this morning with carter hall (even though the bowl is coated)
It smoked WONDERFULLY! !

Clear, cool, without getting hot. I love churchwardens for this reason but having the bowl so far away and down since the stem angle is so steep helped with getting a better whiff of the aroma.

Im loving this pipe so far.

Luckily they don't make a Sauron pipe. It'd probably come with teethmarks on it.
