I bought one of these a few years ago but don't really wear it cause I have a big head 
Im more a trucker mesh hat style,boonie or akubra hat type of guy.
I will see how it sits on my prefered hats and let you know.
They sell just the hardware to add to your favourite hat that I will be getting a few for me, and a few for mates daughters that go jogging in the town and bush.
Some really,really bad violent crimes recently towards women joggers over here.
I would seriously hate to be on the end of the handle!! It deploys in a second.
Have also heard of peps sharpening the prongs oooouchhhh.
Amazing bit of kit in my opinion.
Tasers, Pepper spray and knives and just about anything is a no go over here but reckon the government should issue this type of thing to all females.
