The man himself, his beautiful wife and dear little daughter paid us a visit today. What a nice way to end the year for me.

And.......I now have two more Goussard pipes !! Nice large nose warmer, my first, and another freehand.  Brand new, out of the pouch.

Will post pictures later tonight.

Now there is no room for any more pipes in this house. Yes, not even a less expensive Dunhill

Charl is an A+ dude! Congrats on the pipes!
Thank you!

Yes, Charl is a wonderful friend, always cheerful and laughing. Very humble although he makes super class pipes.

Oh yes. Photos has been taken already. Will be posted soon.

I'm smoking the nose warmer right now but the freehand is still a virgin

Opened the free hand this morning with Prairie Wind...........sweet sailing all the way.

This man is a MASTER !!

No doubt about it, this friend of ours understands wood intimately. Fantastic bird's eye on the nose warmer, not to mention that radial flame grain thing he does on the free hand. Outstanding.

My turn to be envious!

Enjoy.

Beautiful pipes Pete!
Charl truly has an eye for shapes and form. :king:
MASTERFUL!!!!!

I'm really so happy with both new pipes. After only a couple of days, both smoke like champions already. Just imagine what they will be like after a month or 6.

Charl also sells some seconds, marked pYp. Nothing wrong with the pipes as such, maybe only a small flaw in the wood . You can ask him about it. Sold at a healthy discounted price.

Must add, Charl is my friend but that's all. We ain't business partners, only pipe buddies.
