My father came from a family of 9 children, he passed away a couple of years ago and I hadn’t had a lot of contact with his siblings. My dad’s oldest brother was home over thanksgiving and stopped by my man cave. He noticed my pipes and asked if I’d be interested in having my grandfathers pipe? Of course I was! My grandfather passed away in 1969, 7 years before I was born and I never knew that he was a pipe smoker. My Grandmother passed away a week after my uncle's visit and my he returned to our home town with the pipe in hand! It is what seems to me a very large Cary Magic Inch Pipe! We shared a bottle of Bookers with a few others and the old briar was blazing again! I’ll try to post a picture of it as soon as I can!

Very cool story Undertaker! Looking forward to viewing your pics of your grandfather's pipe! :santa:

That is an awesome story. My uncle died this past summer, he was always seen with pipe in hand. I was able to get many of his pipes, mostly Gracos and other drug store brands, but also a number of the Falcon pipes he was known for. And a few gems, a Savinelli 622 fine series from about the 60's I suppose. They are all important to me and I would never give them up.

Hey awesome photos of an awesome pipe man! One of those in your collection that you will never let go of, I guarantee!
