Was drifting around the interwebs last night, looking for pipe stuff and ran across this interesting site. It is a French pipe site with lots of neat info especially this part of it to which I've included a link:

which allows you to access 100's of photos of pipe smoking personalities such as Albert Camus, Bertrand Blier etc. Though most are French there are many American authors and folks as well. It's some interesting stuff ( especially if you can read French
