Just giving a little shout out to PipesandCigars.com! I placed a very large order with them today and got the usual VIP treatment that they give to all of their customers! Shipping is always lightning fast via UPS and their prices are as low or lower than anyone on the web. I can't recommend these folks highly enough. They have become my sole supplier for tobacco, period!
 
Well-said, Dock--I echo your sentiments (with a large order from P&C speeding down Rt 84 to me right now.)

I especially appreciated their customer service on my last oder, when something I ordered went out-of-stock before fulfillment. I got a check-in email the next business day to let me expect the delay, with the option to change/cancel my order if I so desired. (They never bill my card until the order is packed, which is a mark of an honest dealer.)
 
Dock, I likely buy 80% or more of my tobacco from them as well. My only issue is their online inventory is not up to date with orders and you can find out after the fact that they were out of stock. This morning I called to confirm if an order I placed yesterday would ship in full or not and they can't tell until they get caught up on picking which may be late today or even tomorrow. Was the same with my last order but they did go to work and find my product after a few days.

They are really nice people though.
 
I order from these guys every couple months, and have always been pleased with their prices, selection, and service. I can't recommend them highly enough!

They always include some sort of "freebie" (pipe cleaners, tobacco samples,matches, etc), which is a nice touch.
 
Alas, my NY state residency requires a combined sales and tobacco tax of 54% when ordering from in state suppliers,,,,,,,,but I've heard nothing but good things from all who have ordered from them,,,,
 
They are some good folks, for sure. I get most of my tobacco from them and have bought a couple of pipes there.
 
When they hired Debbie their service and response improved considerably. She really helped me out on a 2008 Pete St. Pat's pipe problem.

Pretty sad state of affairs when you can't order something within your own state due to the tax burden :evil: So we spend/send our money in another state :p Makes a lot of sense :x FTRPLT

And.....P&C are great folks with whom to do business :cheers:
 
I want to add that P&C recently handled a minor problem with a recent order with speed and class. It's how business should be carried out and I'm appreciative.

I've always had good service from them, although I haven't ordered from them in awhile.
 
This morning when checking my emails I found that my most recent order from P&C had the wrong tobacco shipped. It was partially my fault, I had somehow ordered the wrong tobacco but called the next day and had it changed with ample time (about 3 days) before they shipped it out. Anyway, I called again this morning and they immediately shipped the correct product with a prepaid return label so I can return the other. Lots of other etailers might have put up an argument or at least insist that I pay the return shipping.

Just another example of great service from Pipes and Cigars.

I had a similar thing happen to me. They did the same thing except in my case it was a pipe. they sent me a new one and trusted me to send the old one back. Great Customer Service People the are indeed.
