Wanted to introduce myself. I have been creeping this forum for the last few weeks (and learning a lot). I recently switched from cigars to pipes and am enjoying the hobby immensely. Cheers everyone.

Hey brother. Buffalo, Ny area here. If you've been to the Walden Galleria to do any shopping you've been 5 minutes from my house. Welcome !

Hey WnyPiper - go there all the time. Know it well. My kids are Cheesecake Factory nuts and we don't have that here.

Good deal. If you've ever coming around and want to hook up let me know. There are several nice B&M's around the area not far at all from the Galleria to have a smoke at.

Sounds good. Already saw the reference in your profile to Kalnitz pipes and googled them. I need a good tobacconist and piper make close to home (and on the much cheaper side of the border, to boot).

Many of my pipes are made by them, Either Milt( the father ) or Brian( the son ). Prices start at about 50$ and go up to about 300$. I own pipes by them from all price ranges. They all smoke beautifully. I highly suggest checking out the shop if you can. Smokers haven is in West Seneca ( Brian's shop ) and Bellazia is down Transit Rd ( Milt's Shop )

They both basically have the same selection. They just hit both sides of town with the 2 locations. They're a family so they order for both shops together for the most part. However Bellazia has a bit more when it comes to cigars. I go more to Smokers Haven because it is a 5 minute drive from my house.

Thanks wnypiper. How are there in-house blended tobaccos? will be going to your area xmas shopping soon and plan to stop by and pick some stuff up

Well many of them are re named Bulk blends. However, they blend up a real nice Virginia themselves called Brian's Blend which is real nice. They have no problem there with you packing a few pipes hanging out and giving blends a try before you buy anything. So you always have that going for ya. You get the chance to sample if you'd like.

The Dutch Slices they have are another favorite of mine. I'm sure it is a renamed bulk I just don't know who's as it is a broken flake cut and I know they're not pressing tobacco's in house. Worth checking out though.

I don't know if that info helps at all. Taste is so subjective that what I like you may hate ya know. I don't smoke aero's so I can't tell you much about them.

I do know that their " Seville " is Lane's 1-Q so if you have not tried that yet you may want to give that a go. Many people like that blend and if you end up liking it yourself It's available on line for something like 25$ a pound.....

Welcome from Ireland brother!

(I found my way here from your post on your new pipes)
