Hi - I'm a newbie at smoking pipes (even though I tried my first one way back in 1975 when I was 15!).
I've got physical and mental health problems and I find that having taken up smoking a pipe that it's the best therapy!
Looking forward to learning from you folks.

Dith, welcome to our little corner of pipedom. And I see you're a Geordie - you'll be in good company as a goodly few of the brethren here hail from Blighty. They'll be along in due course to show you the secret handshake and give you a jolly proper welcome!

:p

Thanks for the welcome folks!
One 'slight" quibble - I may like in England but I am definitely not English/British! I'm a proud Irish-Northumbrian! :D
Apart from that I'm gladdened by the welcomes and I look forward to learning The Tao of the Pipe from you venerable sages! :pipe:

I say, that's terribly decent of you chaps. I do rather enjoy rubbing shoulders with the splendid folks on the BoB.

Now then, back to the task in hand...

Welcome aboard Dith. I'm familiar with your corner of Blighty as I lived near Alnwick for a while on the coast. Jolly cold for much of the time, even in the height of summer!

The BoB is just the ticket for learning our noble art and I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting the rest of the team in due course.

So, without further ado, it's Tally Ho and Pip Pip...

Just got myself a new pipe this morning to compensate for cancelled hospital appointment) .
It's a Peterson Army Made 999.

You have yourself a fine pipe and welcome to the board. :)

Greetings and salutations good Sir! Welcome aboard. You could not have found a better bunch of scoundrels to couch you in the fine art of making delightful clouds of tobacco smoke. :D :D :D :D
