I only have one of Jakes pipes, but it is one of my favorite smokers that stays in my regular rotation. His engineering is superb on his little nosewarmers, and they are worth every penny of the $100 he usually asks for them. I almost bought one of the new ones that he had available, but I have already exceeded my budget this month with a Les Wood and a Nording I had already bought.

My best friend in Lancaster, who I turned onto pipes, has been hanging with Jack a bit. My boy is very adept at anything to do with building or repairing or making. He made a cob with a bowl from Jack, and Jack recently gave him some of his briar seconds. The pipers just keep passin' it along......
