A couple years ago, I was interviewed in a local magazine about my pipe smoking. I found out today that one of them is on display in the lobby of the RCC Photography Dept in Asheboro NC. And just now, a good friend just alerted me to the story about the pipe smoking photo of me. Even though my last name was misspelled, it's a very good story with more photos and how the photographer, Jerry Wolford worked. Wow!

I did have a great day. I'd been waiting for years to get the Nero Wolfe series, and especially the new Gary Giddins Bing Crosby book. Had a nice quiet evening with m'lady and cats and pipe tobacco. Couldn't want more than that.
