Welcome to BoB. We'd love to hear more about you like what you like to smoke, types of pipes you have or intend to get, anything really you care to spill the beans about as an introduction. You will find this place to be unlike any other forum you might happen across and it is very easy to get immersed into the world of the Brotherhood.
Hmm, well let me see,
Pipes wise: I have been smoking for just under a year, I have a odd assortment of pipes. I have 2 meerschaums, 1 calabash (in avatar), a Dr. Grabo(w?) I found at a antique store, a savinelli champagne, a wessex Guard, A viking classic, An Alpha Uncle paul (also got at an antique store) among other unnamed Italy pipes and and unnamed Italy churchwarden.
Tobacco wise: I have 8 mason jars of aromatic types of tobacco (different blends from a tobacconist here in denver), 4 Mason jars of English tobacco (Dunhill Early morning pipe, Dunhill my mixture 965, Cornell and Diehl Da Vinci, and Dunhill Nightcap) and 1 jar of Dunhill virginia flake. I love the english blends, but my wife is not a fan of the smell it leaves on me lol. The viginia blend I just recently acquired, but just by my first pipe of it I think my wife and I may have a new favorite. her Smell wise, me taste and enjoyment wise hehe. My aromatics are the ones I got started on, the tobacconist here in town he calls "Hobbits weed" (I guarantee you it is 100% tobacco... I promise.) I is a burley based aromatic, I love it!
Me wise: I came across this board from a link a friend/fellow piper posted on another board named reddit, I bookmarked it wanting to come back to it later on when I had a bit more time and here I am. I am glad to see this board is so inviting and well maintained, I look forward to spending many hours surfing through here and posting what I think is beneficial to the board or the topic at hand or whatever I feel is relevant at the time. I have ab ad habit of stating how regularly I will be on a board and then never committing to what I say due to other occurrences in life, so I won't and just say I will be on as often as I feel like and as often as I see possible. In my opinion, once something you enjoyed at first becomes a chore, then you have lost the original point of doing that something in the first place...
