Just wanted to say hi. Been looking around for a couple of days and decided to pull the trigger and register.

I'm a cigar smoker who is considering sliding down another slippery slope into pipe smoking. I'm looking forward to contracting cases of PAD and TAD very soon.
It's a bit cold at the moment for smoking outside, so I have to plot carefully when, where, and what I'm going to get to stimulate my senses. Advice and recommendations are always welcomed, but not guaranteed to be followed.

I recently picked up a pair of pipes (a nording and a danti), some tins, and look forward to learning!

Thanks!

John

Welcome to the forum. I was just like you not too long ago, a long time cigar smoker interested in trying a couple pipes. I now have 8 pipes, 20+ tins of tobacco and a couple cases of tobacco jarred. It is a fun but slippery slope my friend, you will enjoy every minute of it!

Welcome from Long Island New York. Long time cigar smokers never die. They just become appreciative pipe smokers. On the other hand appreciative pipe smokers do indulge now and then in the pleasures of a good stick. Just received a holiday gift from myself to me. A box of Partagas Black Label Magnificos from Serious Cigars in Houston. Happy holiday and great smokes to you.
