Hello from NY

Hello all, I'm somewhat new to pipe smoking so I was given a very helpful recommendation to join here. So here I am! I hope to learn some and contribute if possible.

I have a few MM corn cobs, Comoy's straight apple and a Weber bent. I've tried a few tobaccos that I really like and am looking to gain more knowledge about what to smoke in what for the best experience.

Welcome. A Weber, eh? That's a brand I've never seen mentioned here. I have one and consider it a "sleeper" brand. Blows several well-known brands out of the water, if the one I have is any indication. And can be had cheap. (Mine even has a sterling silver ferrule, so I'm guessing there are several quality levels.)

My little Weber is a nice one as well and I was shocked to see 14k on the ferrule. It's a Deep Grain according to the stamp in the side. I got it from Ebay for $8 if I remember correctly.

Weber I believe was pretty popular in the fifties and I've had and still have a few.
They've all seemed to be well made factory pipes. One of my first pipes was a Weber briar skull pipe.
