I've been a pipe smoker for 16 years. I quit cigs when I was 30 and I was always fond of pipes for some reason.
My fave tobacco is PS Luxury Twist Flake. Been having problems lately with ordering it (backordered on some of my usual spots), so I've been enjoying some 8-10 year old Escudos from my cellar. I just opened a tin of Butera's Royal Vintage: Dark Stoved from 1998. WOW, what a sweet smell.
I used to enjoy Latakia blends, but I've lost my taste for them. It stinks because I have plenty of them in my cellar. Maybe I'll try some that I have.
I came across this site today and WOW how times have changed. It's been awhile since I've read ASP. I decided to check out ASP to see if there was any marketability for some of my Latakia stuff and I came across this site. I've enjoyed reading some of the threads, so far.
I bought so much stuff from 2000-2002. However, for the past several years all I've bought has been Luxury Twist Flake. I feel like I missed some great tobaccos, I must fix that.
I enjoy drinking coffee (light & sweet) with my pipe at night. Coffee doesn't keep my awake at night.
