Welcome!

I'm a big fan of many of the oolongs that come out of Taiwan. Seems like a very interesting place to live.

i, myself, likt to drink high mountain tea a lot too. One of my friend plant the tea tree in high mountain, so i can get cheaper price tea but high quality to sip, he also makes tea pot and gets rewards from local government. i also collect tea pots too. So pls, feel free to ask me about those question. In my opinion, Taiwan tea is better than Mainland China. All of U, my friend, come to my blog to take a look about my collectibles. Give me your suggestion or somthing else.
Ciao!

Very cool! I mostly drink Dong Ding Oolong and only have a couple Yixing pots. Would love to hear suggestions on different teas to explore. Seems as though you have a nice collection.

i've been collecting Yixing tea pots over 20 years. At first , i'd like to collect tea pots from famous people such as Gu Jinzhou, Wang yinxian, He Daohong...etc, although i still have some of their pots on hand, but just for collectibles only, and i have some other more than 60 tea pots. Guess what ? i use only few of ordinary tea pots in my daily life.To the end, Maybe i'll sell some of tea pots next day. Here is my suggestion, Just choose some of tea pots those u used to use them quiet often and the shape u also like. Keep the view of tea pots from celebrities away, unless u collect, make money from them, otherwise, believe me, u do not want to use them. The tea which i told last time is called Yushan tea from Jade mountain in Taiwan. Maybe next time! See u, my friend, CrabHao

Greetings and welcome, crabhao,

Wow, such a far away place. I had to look up Maiao in my atlas, but I do not see where it is on Taiwan Island.

I have one pipe by Mr. Biagini, and it is one of my favourite smokers. Sadly, the shank cracked when it arrived in the post, and I hastily put the stem in the shank. I sent it off to be repaired, and it is as good as new now. Now I am more careful when inserting the stem into the shank, and will use beeswax to rub on stem end before inserting it. This pipe had an extremely tight fitting stem.

Teas. Oh, don't get me started on Tea!

I enjoyed looking over your website, and the nice family picture with the tall Palm trees in the background. It looks like a lovely place.
Regards, Lisa Marie
