My Ferndown bent bulldog will be here tomorrow and I am already talking to two pipe makers about my next pipes. Next two pipes will be a Northern Briars bruyere premiere g5 bent bulldog( he calls it a rhodesian) with a green Cumberland stem, then a morta group 5 bent bulldog with a brown black cumberland stem. That will give me 3 pipes in 4 months or so. After these I am not exactly sure what is next. If a Dunhill 5108 comes available then it will be that. Same thing if a root, bark, or tudor root 3* bent bulldog becomes available. If not maybe another northern briars will be next.

Plan? You mean succumb to Satan?

Nah, seriously, you're doing a hell of a job rebuilding your stock of fine briar. More power to ya'. I've reached a point where I have the image of a specific piece dancing around in my skull. If it's not perfect, I don't buy it. Case in point: a perfect Baki meerschaum. Don't see anything there on his site now, so I'll hold off. Easy-peasy. I'd order something custom-made, but I question my creative judgment. I know good when I see it, and that's about the extent of my "planning."

For some reason I purchase about 2 -4 pipes a month, sometimes more, it's very addictive.
I'll have two more coming in a about a week. Not much to do around here for me other then to smoke, buy tobacco and pipes. So I reckon I do it for something to do? :fpalm:

I don't plan anything, really.

When one calls to me, I answer!

:face:

Cheers,

RR
And that happens many times a day, every day!

I'm waiting for 3 pipes right now. Delivery has been delayed by our post office staff being on strike.

I might wait until I've received them before I buy some more. Or maybe I won't
