That is a little strange. I don't know much about those Charatan figural pipes. The ad doesn't clearly show the nomenclature. Does anyone know much about these Charatans?

They made portrait pipes like that one back in the (previous) depression (1921-41).

Hitler was an especially popular subject. You don't see them today.

I think they're neat because everybody rolls their eyes at the El Cheapo carved face pipes on Flea Bay, assuming they're the worse lapse of taste possible in pipes. But then it turns out that Charatan was making them too . . .

I think Kyle needs one.
