Hey there everyone,
Brand new member here, so thank you all for having me here on your board. I've been smoking pipe for the past few years, but not religiously. Recently i've been trying to kick the death sticks and tins of chew. Just pipes and snuff for me from now on. Can't tell you how good it is to taste and enjoy tobacco!
Right now I have two pipes, a Peterson's of Dublin calabash, and a cheap kicker from the Czech Republic that actually smokes like a champ. I live near Boston, so I have the luxury of enjoying L.J. Peretti's offerings of pipe tobacco. Right now I am enjoying an 8 oz can of his "Smiths Own," as well as some Bullseye and British blends. As for flake, I have also been enjoying a can of MacBaren's Virginia.
I love dark leathery perique and Latakia, and can savor a sweet cavendish. I hope to learn a thing or two from you guys about what makes a good pipe good, and what you guys like to smoke and why.
I am first and foremost into snuff, but love my pipes and am excited to participate in your community here.
Thanks again for having me!
All the best,
-M
