I am not big on words, nor can I type faster than a stone. I would like to say hello to all. I am a Cigar smoker at heart, and have just come to pipes a few months ago and must say I found a new love. My father was a pipe smoker and the smell in the air brings back fond memories. Again 'HELLO' to all...
Thanks John.

Welcome!!!!!!! I am AC/DC as well (Ciagrs and Pipes !!!!...LOL!!!)

I am a former pipe smoker and intend to return to the fold. Carpenters working on our mid-19th century house today found a small clay pipe. It is marked "W.White T78 Glasgow."

Any info would be appreciated.

Pbdublin.............Presume you live in the UK or Ireland??? Not uncommon for workmen to put a clay pie in a wall in Victorian times for good luck, etc.! Neat find !!

Welcome, John. The path you travel is well trod. I would wager that half or more the the rabble here were dedicated puros huffers before they wandered over to the bowl. And we all (well, almost all) still enjoy a good cigar from time to time). Variety is the spice of....., well, you know how it goes.

Natch
