This is a pipe that I found at an Antique Mall. Never saw or had a Kaywoodie before. It was in pretty good shape so I cleaned it up a little. It has the "screw style" style stem:

The markings are:

DRINKLESS KAYWOODIE
MADE IN ENGLAND
83B

It's surprisingly sturdy and I love the shape.

BTW... $10.00

Puffs, Nice Score, I've tried all the flea markets and antique stores in the northeast , but Dock has got to them just before me!! Ken
Pacem en Puffing!

SP,

First i'd like to say what a good steal at $10 and secondly that I'm a little bit jealous right now. Which mall did you find it at?

You live almost next door to it... Rocky Mountain on 7025 Gateway Boulevard. You probably could walk to it. I just drop in very ocassionally, when I'm at Queen Alexandra School to pick up my grandson.

I love that shape. I saw one similar on ebay a while back, seems like it went for about 20-30 bucks. Good score

I have 2 Kaywoodies that are part of my regular rotation. A 13b shape in the Supreme finish is absolutely delightful for McClleland's St. James Woods and I also have a very tall Kaywoodie hand made Stack that I really enjoy Shortcut To Mushrooms in. Bother very good smokers. Neither of mine have filters. Can't beat them for the money.
