I've been smoking pipes for about twelve years, though I've only recently begun to collect pipes and educate myself about pipe history. Currently, I own nine pipes- one of which is a Kaywoodie White Briar. I don't know if its a 'drinkless' or not, but it is certainly my favorite pipe of the moment. The air-flow is great, and it is remarkably easy to keep clean. I can smoke it at least fifteen times before I think about a pipe cleaner. Its great to simply wipe the stinger with a napkin. I hear a lot of people (no-one from here so far) speak lowly of KAYWOODIES, i.e. 'drugstore pipe', etc...
Yes, I'm a new pipe collector, and I've yet to experience a Peterson thrill or a Savinelli rush, but based on my smoking experiences, I think that I'm gonna collect KAYWOODIES. Yes, mine smokes a bit hot sometimes, but it's so damned stylish......
Please let me know about YOUR Kaywoodie experiences.
