This one took some doing - it had suffered from a previous owner's "a pipe is a hammer" philosophy. The rim was beaten out of shape, the finish was a mess and the stem had tooth dents for days. It cleaned up pretty well, though the stem never fully recovered from the bite marks.

Thanks RR. I likd the slim shape of these old Medico pipes - something mid-century elegant about them to my mind. I really wish though that the nylon stem had never been invented. Rubbish to work with when trying to restore. :)
 
Super impressive. Good job. I also like about this pipe what you explained and thought that was well said.
