thank you, and the my last two dogs were Weimaraners. I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers.

You are most welcome. I had the hardest time deciding between the German Shorthair, Vizsla and Weimaraner they are pretty closely related. Kept searching the various rescues and we got lined up with someone the next town down to adopt her 7 y/o Weimaraner as they were moving to Ireland and did not want her to be left in confinement for 45 days, ended up she got cold feet and changed her mind about 2 weeks before we were to keep her for good after several months of night overs and weekends with us. Levi came to me at 16 months old 20 lbs underweight, had Lyme Disease and pink pads on his paws. That will be 7 years ago this June and we still don't know who was the rescuer and the rescuee.
