...anyone have any experience with 'em? I found a couple randomly in searches of different pipes, and the prices and styles are quite attractive...just a few that caught my eye:

Maestro Beraldi is/was made by the same folks who make Mario Grandi pipes. I've owned one Beraldi and really enjoyed smoking it. It was very comfortable in the teeth and hands and was a great smoker. For excellent price to quality ratio, Maestro Beraldi is a great option.

The one I have has some sexy options, like a teflon tenon. Pretty good pipe. I was not keen on the plasticy thick finish it had. I can't tell from the pics whether that is still being applied or not... Anyway a perfectly decent pipe.

I hear ya bro. To prevent myself from becoming infected with PAD, I've made it a rule not to buy more than one pipe a month. Very painful.

I go with the feast or famine technique of PAD/TAD. Unfortunately, I usually spend during the feast what I saved in the famine.

I have one like the first picture but a different finish. Great smoker IMHO. They are well made pipes for the money.

I'm effing broke, otherwise, I would. I had to pass up a nice 80s Pete at one B&M, and a Randy Wiley at my Tinder Box just today. Restraint is irrelevant sometimes. :lol:
