hi all,
I'm just home from a business trip to Munich... too much schannpes, beers etc (well you have to make the most of the opportunity !) but when walking across the main square Marienplatz I caught the smell of a typical Danish aromatic and there was agroup of school kids approx 16-17 yrs old and two were smoking pipes ! nobody even seemed bothered ....this would be unsual in the UK ... one of the things I love about Germany is the general public acceptance of pipe smoking, I have almost converted over to 9mm filter pipes now and am enjoying some great aromatics I never thought possible to smoke; it's almost as if they were designed for filter smoking.
If you ever get the chance to go to Munich the George Huber's shop is a must, bt there are many more. ttp://www.pfeifen-huber.de
Cheers
Justin.
