Um yeah  Its another long stem Churchwarden. (kind of been wanting one for awhile)
Its my first "rusticated too" which I didnt know if I would like, but heck yeah , it has a good feel to it.
My pal up the road got his 'Joh's churchwarden yesterday,,its his first pipe, so I went over and we lit up our Churchwardens, and sat in the Garage and B.S.'ed for awhile.
I had my first bowl ever of Orliks, in mine,,,my buddy went with Pipers Pleasure in his.

Yep, I'm liking it. I think I would like another Savinelli in the #104 style with a short stem. It seems to have a bowl size that would be perfect for the way I smoke my Virginias.

( :( :( But how will I ever complete my dream of owning one of each , of Petersons lineup , if I start buying other brands????)

OK the dream is gone :D I think I'll start trying different brands :D
Because I sure like the feel and looks of this Savinelli, and it smoked nice on its first time out.

I love my Savinelli.
Nice choice of smokes too!
Sounds like a good time. Wish I had somebody nearby to sit down, smoke and BS with.

I have several Savinelli's and in my opinion, they currently make some of the best values in a production made pipe being made today. And their older ones are some GREAT smokers and as far as handmades, the Autograph series are still some of the BEST pipes made ever!! They have some nice.nice blasted pipes in the Non Pariell series both estate as well as new. GOOD catch !!

well, I know Im supposed to rotate, But Ive been allowing myself to smoke it once every evenin, till I get the new burnt out of it.
So, I guess Ive got 3 smokes out of it.. a few more and i'll let her sit it out for a few days.

I have 3 Sav's and they do smoke well. I haven't fired them up in a while though. All mine have the Balsa insert (which I don't use) and I put the little adapters in them. They still smoked well but with the adapter in they get a little picky sometimes about passing a pipe cleaner. You've got me thinking about lighting one up again though, maybe without the adapter in. I haven't tried that and talk about a wide open draw hmmm........Enjoy your pipe.

Nice Start with the Savinelli's. I love them myself. They have some really nice shapes on their charts. The older Non Pariels are true beauties. Also, Orlik, Golden Slices... You go man! I also like Bengal Slices.
