Where to begin? I'm a cigar and pipe smoker of about 40 years...early into pipes, then more toward cigars and recently back to pipes almost exclusively. Pipe inventory is not a 'collection' as much as a 'working inventory'...maybe 30 or so at present. Currently smoking mostly flakes, esp. Stonehaven (my fav.), also older G,H &Co. & SG items from my cellar, Peterson's Plug and the Irish & Univ. Flakes...that kinda thing. Also, being from the Portland, OR area I'm fortunate enough to have direct access to Rich's and Steve Brooks, the magic blender of all time. I'm a professional wood carver, making hiking staffs, walking sticks & canes...and also a myriad of pipe tampers...some carved and some made from copper (um, those aren't carved...lol). My latest fabrication is a copper tube with a cap on each end with a forged pipe nail inside...from one end there is a leather thong on which is suspended a glass bead. They look like a small "Pipe Bomb"...so I call 'em...wait for it...the Pipe Bomb! Pretty clever! Prior to this I've been active on the old JRBB & Torano BB...and then primarily at Herfer's Paradise. Nice ta meetcha, pleased to bee here, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Howdy! Wecome aboard Blackhorse. Good bunch of helpful guys here so post often.

Welcome, nice 'working inventory; , lots of great BoB's here, enjoy your stay!

Blackhorse, you just had to use the "bee" word didn't you???

A huge, big orange, Tennessee welcome to you, sir!! You seem like a good chap with a decent sense of humor. I like that! And, I'm sure you'll fit right in just as if you've always been a member!! ;)

Given the "working inventory" you have and the things you enjoy making, I can't believe someone hasn't beat me to telling you this.... we're all a bunch of pic whores around here. So, POST UP SOME PICS OF YOUR STUFF so we can all drool and wishturbate over everything!!!

Hey Bud, it looks like the ducks will be number one Monday thanks to Mizzou!

Also you can call BeeBiz CornBroomFace if you want to. It ticks him off a little but he knows it's cause we love him.

I've already told you that don't tick me off, you Old Geezer!! Linda actually thinks it's cute... especially when you call me the Fuller Brush Man!!

My new brother, you are welcome to refer to me in whatever way your conscience so guides you! But, this "Falconer" geeze loves to be referred to as either Bird, Birdbrain, LP, Little Prick, Old Geezer, or The Mississippi... dang... almost did it again! Sorry, LP!!
:lol!: :lol!: :lol!:

Hey, LP... would DQ (D=Delta) be alright with you???
:lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!:

Robert

Feel free to call him Santa also!

Whoa! As Crocodile Dundee would say, "Now THIS is a welcome!". Too much to digest re: the in-house humor...too much to respond to in other areas at this point. Time will answer all questions and reveal the images you seek. lol
