your link doesn't take you to a pic of the pipe. I own one Savinelli and It's one of my best smokers.

I don't know how to "transfer" the picture in any other way.  I've copied and pasted the link to eBay.  Seller is Chance at Great Estate Pipes.

Sorry I can't do more.

I will wait until I receive the pipe and then post pictures of my own.

Must be a fib, no can see.
Fib = "small, unimportant lie".

No sir!!  I don't need to lie about anything, least about buying pipes.

Pete,  the main link points to a summary page.  It does have the info to display it to you.  For us, it shows our summary page.  You'd need to follow the link on your page to the full page that shows sold and has the display old page option.  That URL will share it with us.

And, don't fret over the fib business.  Its just his time of the month to work on improving his standup routine.

That worked fine, Pete.  Lovely acquisition!

This beauty arrived today!!!

As with all my other pipes I've bought from Chance, this one is also PERFECT. It's like a pipe out of the box.

What I specially adore about it, is the super slim/thin bit. It sits between my teeth as if it was made for me.

Filled it with Petersen's Irish Flake and puffing away on it now.

WOW!!!! I'm a happy chappie.

Unbeatable SAVINELLI :bounce:  :bounce:  :D :D :D

This is my first experience with a Punto Oro and I have some questions for the Brothers about it:

1) This seems to be an upper class pipe?
2) I've been looking around for some more of them and price seems to be higher than for the ordinary Savinelli?
3) Is it hand made? The stem fits so well, it must be hand cut?
4) Any of our Brothers like them/can tell me more about these pipes?

I thank thee

now THAT"S a GORGEOUS Pot !!

I believe the Punto Oro's were third down from the top in Sav's pecking order. Autographs at the top, mostly freehands, then Guibleo d Oro, more traditional shapes, always smooth finished, then the Punto Oro's a mix of shapes and they made both blasted and smooth finish in this series. And yes ALL these pipes were hand finished. They were and still are, some of the best Savinelli makes. :p

Classy looking pipe in a clasic shape. Congrats brother:cheers:

I think Savinelli is one of the best values out there. I have several and all are good smokers. That's a nice pipe. You did good.

I love my savinelli's! ...and am a bit jealous of your recent addition. I've added two 604 ks ( oom pauls) recently. As far as the higher end savs with low price tags, I've been checking out the Milano handmades. I've seen them described as handmades that were on their way to becoming autographs but couldn't make the cut.

Edit. Actually one is a 604 Ks Oscar series, the other is a 604 ex Hercules series.
