New Sherlok Holmes movie pipe question

[Natch]

We went to see it the other day, and the black, rusticated pipe he smokes several times during the movie, is it a billiard or Dublin or what shape? I didn't concentrate on it that hard and I'm trying to remember the shape. Anyone know?

To me it looked like a rusticated black or dark brown billiard. But I could be wrong.

I'd call it a black blasted billiard. It appears to be a group (4) or so in size....

Agree, it is a billiard or variation there of. I am sure that for some folks it is quite a stray from Rathbones large full bent billiard. And I doubt Rathbone's depiction of the character would have allowed Irene Adler to use his pipe for an explosive device. I thought it was pretty cool!

Saw SH right after Christmas. Thought to myself at the time that SH actually had three different pipes during the movie. Any thoughts????? FTRPLT
