Once a year my town in IL has a city wide yard sale (the surrounding towns do it following weekends) and I picked up this set of shelves for 30 which were actually at my next door neighbors house. Loaded the drawers chock full of pipe cleaners. There's still a couple things I couldn't fit on here and maintain the aesthetic appeal but I am pretty darn happy with my new cellaring shelves.
No pipes at all for sale in town, maybe at the Edgington sale next weekend.

That's a nice looking piece!! Would like to have one like it!! Good score!

Yes Sir - for $30 i'd say you got your money's worth.
I see nothing wrong with that setup, and it looks great.

What do you mean couldn't fit? There's plenty of room left. Look at that near-empty top shelf... 8)

Nice collection of tobaccos too!

Nice. Looks like you've still got room to squeeze in a few more jars. I love city-wide yard sales. It's like an annual redistribution of everyone's unwanted stuff. You haul all your junk out onto your lawn, and go pick through your neighbor's lawn junk to find something to haul back inside. Next year, the cycle repeats. I've got this lamp that's on it's third lap around the block now. :p

Okay I can fit more, but if I slap the other small pipe rack up there it looks discombobulated and I am generally a little ocd with organization lol.

Yeah the town sales are awesome. Picked up a turtle lamp like my grandmother used to have, some lead soldiers, and a couple of old German plates.

Nice buy! You've got MORE tobacco than I have pipes and I have 84+ of those :p You need to put it in a closet so it will be in the dark and truly "cellar'd"! Then you could put rack slots on the door for all your pipes ! that way , you open the door and choose your pipe, then pick out your tobacco from your "stock" ! Then put an i-pad in there so you can input what you've smoked so that your little program you have will keep you up to date on your "cellar" stock

Nice set up! I'm waiting for a neighbor to move out and leave a nice set of shelves by the curb. :suspect:

Evil, evil man you are. It is in the basement that is good enough. Maybe the other ideas when I hit the lottery :lol!:

I have to agree, a fine looking setup -- a lot better than in some boxes in an old metal cabinet like mine!

Thanks gentlemen. I am digging it. I just have to put it up on bricks before I go because the basement has a tendency to flood in heavy storms.

You guys are really starting to make me sick with these crazy tobacco cellars.
